LMCDC has been busy recognizing Truth and Reconciliation at the centre. Our Indigenous Support Worker Stephanie Wright visited and performed drumming and songs, as well as a story of the orange shirt. Children made art to remember the residential school students and the lives lost. Children also drew self portraits to reiterate the importance of themselves with “Every Child Matters”.
