September Child Care Update: Truth and Reconciliation
LMCDC has been busy recognizing Truth and Reconciliation at the centre. Our Indigenous Support Worker Stephanie Wright visited and performed drumming and songs, as well as a story of the orange shirt. July Settlement Update: Community Kitchens
In July, our Settlement team held several Community Kitchen sessions in a picnic format at Riley Park Community Garden. The sessions took place in good weather, in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. June Child Care Update: Theme Days, Picnics, and Ponies
Little Mountain Child Development Centre was very busy in the month of June. Some events and activities included a graduation party for children going to Kindergarten in September, ponies visiting the daycare, as well as Theme Day Wednesdays.
