Settlement Team: Tour Vancouver
This group of enthusiastic newcomers has been touring around Vancouver together, making new connections, learning about taking transit around the city and having a great time creating new memories.
Some of the places that we’ve been to include Queen Elizabeth Park, Lonsdale, Steveston, Bowen Island and Granville Island.
The Tour Vancouver program will wrap up at the end of the summer and hope to start it up again next summer.
The program is funded by IRCC. Special thanks to the VanCity grant that allowed more flexibility in providing additional transit support, food and drinks during the trips.
